    black ice

Nope it's more of a matte finish. I can send pics via number or email if you would like

    black ice

I can't figure pics out but it's coated over a stainless barrel, it now looks like a blued , matte finish

After several rounds in my white thunderbolt the black ice looks brand new, I would highly recommend it. I might send my omega x7 out to get done next

We should all go shed hunting then just south of the Desmond hotel on the nys northway. They were both impressive racks.

Just saw two large bucks sparring in a field on my way to work this morning,by far the latest I have seen deer with hardware.
  8. Hold off on ordering the 5/8 plug as there are dimensional issues with it. Cecil is aware , I will post more once its corrected.
  9. I can find them but they are 1k all day long on gun broker.
  10. The nef line of muzzle loaders just plain shoot, the green mtn barrels shoot sabots and conical s both very accurately
  11. I have heard nothing but bad about primos cams , Moultrie for me , no issues at all. My one cam is going on 6 years and it stays out 365 days a year.
  12. That's fine , you can still use them , just letting people know there is a far better choice. One other point on the carriers, they are dirty for sure, along with heavy blow back. Keep me posted after 30 or so shots on the same primer carrier how easy it is to get the primer out. Much easier to do on any modified plug. Good luck to ya . Steve
  13. Eddie , the Orange primer holder will not ignite bh209 100% of the time with any primer used, not to mention hang fire issues. For that reason the MU , metrics unlimited plug was created by nick Allen. Cecil has just given users of the fine guns another choice for 100% ignition all the time with any powder or primer used. Last I knew you could put a primer carrier in your gun with out a primer , so be safe and be sure it's unloaded the old fashion way, your eyes. I also know you can't use them after a certain point, my MU plug has over 500 rounds on it, no carrier will come close to that. As for the price, it might be high but a discount gets applied after purchase, also Cecil doesn't sell junk, I am sure it's top quality. Steve
  14. Looks like Cecil is now making an upgraded plug for the NEF ML, I just ordered one in 5/8 for my heritage ml. https://www.prbullet.com/nef.htm
  15. Not to mention you can get 50 sabots for 6 bucks or so and 50 hornady xtps for 16 bucks, far cheaper then any shotgun slug, rifled or not
  16. You might want to think about getting a muzzle loader, now a days they are accurate past 150 yards once you find the right combo. Not to mention you get extra time in the field with the added seasons
  17. I would not use bore butter on a BB gun , but highly recommend Montana extreme products. They have a full line of products from cleaning to storage.
  18. I would vote for Jeremiah Johnson too, seems that's what started the muzzle loader craze...the damm bug but me and I am still going strong. All others good choices too..
  19. Ruger is the name we chose when we get one, bear is second choice
  20. If Michelin ltx m/s come in your size I am a huge fan. I got 15k miles on a set and they have no wear what so ever. Never was a fan of good years or or bf Goodrich. I like the coopers too but the Michelin are tops. Check out tire rack.com for review's.
  21. I am a big TC fan from the early 80's . One of them either the venture or icon had a big re call for something... As for the S and W take over, it was better before they came on board.
  22. I heard good things about them, I just went with an iwb from alien gear and am very impressed for the price
  23. Let mother nature handle it. I have a doe in my yard with broken rear leg since September...they can survive on three legs...
  24. Well again for me. I was told the regular trophy model was not made any more do they shipped an xlt trophy model, again I can't complain. Bushnell sells lots of scopes, I am surprised to hear this. I actually like my Nikon and weaver scopes much better as far as scopes go
  25. I actually sent in a Bushnell trophy not long ago and received a brand new trophy xlt, no questions asked. I can't say anything bad about their customer service or the scope.
