Does the 6.5 grendel use the sst or different bullet I dont recall . If it shoots accurately I will be using it . I have yet to sight in with it yet.

It is being used in my mini 30, I bought it at runnings on sale for 21 a box. Needless to say i bought all they had . Been using Remington cor lok past 20 plus years in it .

I agree with grampy, a wise old man once told me to hunt as close as you can to houses legally,back then it was 500 from a dwelling. I couldn't figure why he said that being young and dumb. I would go to the farthest parcel out I could find. 3 years in a row I saw that same old wise man with 3 slammers back to back to back years. I became hunting friends with him, finally one year I said Sam what's your secret. [ never got his last name ] He said young man, the money people spend on shrubs in guilderland taste far better then the food a deer eats in the woods . Then it dawned on me, he was hunting close to the food source which was close to the houses . A deer will eat fresh arborvities over woods food anyday of the week. I haven't bow hunted since having kids, but guys at work regularly get 8 pointers in there on a yearly basis .. Just be mindful of the ticks as I said above.

Lawdawz I think I mentioned my praise about browning to you at one point in time glad it worked out. Funny I have a browning strike force too ,has to be 4 years now that is much bluer then yours adk but it takes superb photos. It's been in the same tree since day one. I've thought about upgrading the paint but I'm scared to take it off the tree .

Mine was garage queen until we bought a camper ,I just turned 50k on her. No rust at all,had it under coated the day after I bought it. Frame and undercarriage are mint. Its seen snow less then ten times and is stored in my heated garage . My new to me accord just turned 159k .
