yeah from what i remember they never found a case of it again. It was a pain taking your deer there and then if you had a nice buck they would take the head then return it to you. Im betting that for tjhose few years a lot of deer went unreported

NY killed a bunch of deer in Verona area a few years back. Shot like 200 i believe it was. Was thinking of a 1 pt for a yote or a turkey but maybe next year. Wanted to be sure I could keep track of it all first.

The only way cams might change the way I hunt is if a nice buck or even a lot of does are showing up in a specific spot in the daylight. But they def dont make me hunt less. If anything they make me hunt more. If I am not seeing anything but still getting cam pics it gets me back out there and fired up again.

Three on the board in the first week! Not bad. At least we know we won't all be shutout. I was thinking there was a chance we never picked a hunter right the whole season. Lol. But if that happened I was keeping the placque. Now I better step up my picks!

Trying to decide to fish or hunt or nothing. Rain moving in. Decision made. Neither. No sense in hunting for an hour and a half and dumping my scent around and then if I hit one trying to track in the rain. And fishing ..... As Hank Jr says. " I'm for love , I'm for happiness, but I'm against fishing in the rain,". Next weekend and all this week look to be in the 70s. Prob fish mostly next weekend and have a wedding to go to on Sunday.
