    Hunt #5 10/9. 4-dark. Wayback stand. Didn't see anything. Pulled cam cards this morn and lots of does. Not a single buck on 4 different cams. Def warm out there. No hunting now til next weekend and hopefully a temp drop.

    Looking at the long range forecast, looks like a big temp drop mid next weekend! Sitting here in a shirt. Prob should have stayed home but I guess since I'm here....

    Hunt #4 10/9. Light -10. Roadkill stand. Nothing seen. Pulled cam card and doe right there 20 minutes before I got there in dark. Corey was in wayback and didn't see anything. Pulled card there and lots of doe pics just gotta have the right timing.

    Well thats actually ok by me cause I was at work that day! So many dropped that day, it was killing me! And I went without filling a tag in 2019 I blame it all on not being in the woods on the 2nd!

    enjoy it! its a beautiful place! i got married there at Byron park on Adirondack lake many moons ago. Although the marriage didnt last i bet the park is still there! lol

    I may have to break the distance record IF I ever get a mount worthy one again. I've had taxidermy anxiety for a while as my local guy that is amazing, is already semi retired and was only taking a dozen deer a year and no longer does fish. And the last thing I took to him was in 2018 so he might be out of the game now completely . If he is, and I do happen to get a mounter, and WNY will take it, I will 100 % make that drive. His work is amazing.

    ive figured this out! Those WNY guys....sneaky. They have all those big bucks and be damned if those little kids will shoot them!
