  1. hope the new house has a bunk for Bill then
  2. lol. I cant believe you just said that. I have a buddy that is retired and he also has three boats and never finds time to use them. I tell him he has his own Navy. But he says the exact same thing! I got rid of my small rowboat with a 4hp and kinda wish i kept it for those same reasons.
  3. dunno what year it is but i do knw its a nice looking fishing machine! Early retirement gift!
  4. they will color up the day after you move
  5. Lol I can do better i swear..... And it pissed me off just enough today..... I am going to bow shop tomorrow after work to get a 2 string peep. I am no longer looking around that 3rd string! Today was the last.
  6. First of the year shots on my lunch.
  7. Your alright my man! Stepping up . Lol
  8. we had one similar on the other side of the property 2 years ago. Only got to be a 5 point but he was a brute. I was within a few yards of him twice but could never get a shot. Woudlve been my biggest deer, not by horns, but he was a tank!
  9. he made one appearance all last season on cam on this side of the property. We have upped the quality of the available buffett so hoping he becomes more regular of a guest.
  10. Pics from this year and last year in exact same spot. Is this the exact same buck?
  11. nice !! Ive been thinking about getting one but i think i would drive myself crazy checking it. lol Plus a day I am at work and a monster walks thru isnt going to settle well.
  12. Happy Birthday @bruno1 hope its a great day!
  13. I feel like following Biz hunting in Conn is gonna be like watching Nomar play for the Dodgers........ Good luck with the sale and move. And def congrats on not having to go to the Big city everyday for work. It's gotta make life a whole lot better esp with a little one at home now. Enjoy it all .
  14. Cast iron backstraps , Utica greens, and itty bitty cherry tomatoes.
  15. can you put a leashed run for him outside ? woudl keep him contained to that area and still get outside for extra tire out time.
  16. Happy Birthday @JALA RUT. Hope you get a day out in the kayak and a big northern!
  17. nice buck, hope you get a chance at em. But nothing you can do to get him up and about in the daylight. Just gotta put time over target and try to setup between food and bedding and hope you are there at the right time.
  18. i would def pick a fixed blade if i shot a light poundage. But i am shooting 64# on a 29" draw with a 340 spine/ 9.3 arrow. this setup does some damage. So i feel like i am adding another advantage with the mechanical if i do happen to have poor shot placement. And i also shoot a three blade mechanical with a real tough tip (grim reaper whitetails). They all work if in the boiler room. I basically switched off from Rages cause they were a PITA coming loose on my bow. Killed deer fine but looked over and my blade was hanging out all the time and it was embarrasing! lol
  19. we are calling him "High Tines" lol. Hope we see him this fall.
  20. better quality pics form this weekend cam pulls. Downloaded the pics instead of copies off the big screen . Not so sure this year a spike wont be on the hit list since i dont have my 6S spot anymore. But hoping for an early doe and then be on my 5 point or better usual schedule. That 6 is def a shooter for me! That branch the doe is sniffing is just always a hot spot. Have a stand 34 yards from it.
  21. Not many bucks on cams yet , which is usual til season. But this is a def shooter.
