i got notice from Buds today that 12 g hornady is now available. Got my order in and back to being set for ammo again. Price wasnt much more than usual either.

thanks yeah that does seem like a real lot. I have tenderquick and i generally use that but dont add in salt and sugar in any recipe as tenderquick already has that. I might try to make some of that too - good winter project ! I will prob go wiht the amish spices i get and give it a try. Thanks

Did you use tenderquick or prague powder or pink salt in it? Looks great. We used to bring back 40 pounds of smoked sausage from PA Amish every year. It was great. I was thinking of making some. I did venison smoked but was thinking i might make some pork smoked and want the red color to it so thinking i would use tenderquick in it too which i didnt add to the venison but i also froze it wihtout smoking it first,.

Same here. I told them I wanted to bring my mom's arm with me. She has hardly been out of the house in months. Both counties nearby here have NO vaccines. And people that have made appts have no guarantee that vaccine will be avail for those days. Hope more comes soon. I would think by June it will be avail for most everyone. Or at least I am hoping. And not because of what idiot sits on the throne but because more vaccine has been produced by these companies and Johnson and Johnson has theirs out by then too.

As I already stated. They are also producing for the rest of the world. Which signed agreements and had use approved before we did as they don't have any FDA at all. Our money isn't any better than other countries and it's a free market. Plus it's not really that far behind. They said 20 million doses by Jan. It's still Jan. And govt whether it was sending out a vaccine or an apple or an orange and whether it's headed by the left or the right doesn't move quickly. It's a.huge undertaking that this country has really never seen. Easy for armchair quaterbacks to say what should be done to get it out there. It's another to coordinate it across all the states. I think it has actually gone better than I expected it to so far. That being said it can't get out fast enough. I guess it depends on what news you watch. But if you think "they" have come up with an elaborate plan to let 400,000 people die and have the power (in a Republican white house and Senate), and keep it quiet then I don't know what to tell you. If you think Nancy and Chuck are Dr Evil and Catwoman then you give them more credit than they deserve. Not everything that goes wrong is a plot to make Trump look bad. Is it so hard to believe that if Biden or Trump is president a rushed govt program that doesn't roll out like it's planned and isnt as effective as they hoped is just that and not a twisted conspiracy? Just hope they actually have some for that date in Feb. There have been a bunch scheduled but they are doing it without the vaccine in hand and then have to cancel. Then you have to try and reschedule again and then everything else is already booked thru March. There was a couple cancelled here this week cause they have no vaccine. A couple places are now saying they will post when they have it and can sign up then but you better get the notice in the first hour or it's full. Our county is setup to do 1000+ a day but have no vaccine to administer.
