good to know - been staying away from them because of that. I even have an extra stand in bullpen i bought just in case i needed one and couldnt find any without mesh seating.

cam pics do help the spirit some. When you get a big one like that on cam just knowing they are around is a boost!

Hard to find many ladder stands with the metal seats now. They are all going to the fabric/mesh whatever it is. Yeah maybe more comfortable but done see that stuff lasting long in the elements.

thanks Moog !! Im actually grasping at straws if im relying on a prediction but will take the Karma. Lol (dont tell Biz!) I def have put some time in. Trail cams are starting to just piss me off now. I can sit in a spot one afternoon and see nothing - next afternoon deer on cam. etc. Didnt drop one last year til the 12th but geeze shouldve had a doe in freezer by now at least. Will keep at it, thanks for the good thoughts!

he predicted my next hunt to connect - when i go out i am just gonna take the safety off and launch one - it will just hit a deer - its a lock!

Shot several deer right before a storm. Including my best buck last year. We were closed at work the next day because of snow.

Ruger American 30-06. As the spot I will be hunting offers shots out to 200. Sat there last year opening day with the shotgun and had 5 deer at 175 including a bruiser buck. Otherwise I will carry my Winchester model 94 30/30 for the rest of season.

Hunt #40- 7F lease. 12:30 - 1:30. Went to swamp stand cause I can't figure out if it's a curse or a blessing as there are deer on cam there all the time. Just not while I'm in the stand. So on way in buck standing in trail 30 yards from stand. I seen him thru the brush. He knew something was up and was staring then stepped into brush. Looked like a decent one. Either get busted going in or out but never see one while in the stand. So sat in stand and 20 minutes later neighbor behind me is shooting. Got down and headed to ground blind away from shooting hoping for a deer to come out before dark. So cleaned up shooting lanes and put a different seat in it. Ground blind from 2:30 - dark. About 3:45 pm doe comes out at 85 yards eating grass. She moves to 60, then turns back the other way and lays down in field. She lays there for a half hour. She then gets up and starts coming my way. I had ranged several spots prior. She gets to what I thought was about 43..... And I whiffed with the xbow. No explanation. I shot tight 40 yard groups with it. Must've just pulled off of her when I shot. Found bolt stuck in a branch and not a drop of blood or hair etc. And I knew I missed. I feel ok that I knew it was a clean miss but should be been there . Just dunno. Back to work for two days then last three days of bow off too make it count. Lots of action today but just couldn't seal the deal it seems.

Hunt #39 6S mosh pit stand. Had 4 does skirt me at 30 in the brush. Needed two more steps for a shot. Light to 10. Thanks for the support guys! Hoping to make a late inning save. !

First pic I've seen of him..def a big un. This cam was right between two stands. Can only bowhunt this spot or late muzzleloader. Think he might be the big one I saw last season late muzzle.

Hunt #38 6S big buck stand. 5 hours on a cornfield and saw nothing. Pulled cams and a couple of nice bucks.

Just put boat in storage. So that ought to mean something. And you can't tell me there are no deer here. I won't believe you and I will try to prove you wrong. Lol

You and I are rowing the same boat. Unfortunately we both have one oar and are going in circles. Hope your luck changes
