    Been shore casting. After all that rain this morn was the first time back out in a week. Looks like a west wind for tomorrow so should be a good bite. Canal has been packed at night right after sundown. I've been going at like 4am before hunting. Stickbaits, xraps, have been hot. Water should be in better shape by then we didn't get too much rain today. Might try this early morn before hunting. Sucks on losing the land. Lots of those solar farms going in all over.

    one 1hr and 37 minutes to 5 days off. Its starts with walleye fishing tomorrow at 4am! Then in a treestand by 6am!

    Had today off changed it cause of rain. Did fish for 1/2 he before work. Hooked two eyes and netted one. Almost hit Blart on the way to work. Stepped right out in road 1/4 mile before lease. Sure would like to see him in the stand in the light one time.

    frickin almost got the best buck on my lease this morn with the truck. About 1/4 mile before lease he ran right out in front of me. Hope to have an encounter in the woods hes a beauty in person. And i am sure it was him as I have pics of him on every cam on the property. We named him Blart - after the mall cop In other news...... hooked two walleye this morn but only brought one to net. Yes i was fishing before work. lol

    Done . Only issue is we are supposed to have a chance of snow Fri. If roads look messy I will have to go in.

    i would worry about it more in the early season. Not much left now and bucks from other areas will be moving as well. I would say hunt it , time is getting short

    Good base recipe but seems like a lot of heat for sure. Take out the heat on that recipe and use some chopped cherry peppers instead and that's about Utica style and the way i make them. Good stuff.

    Hunt #31 - 7F lease. Hunting far side of lease in thick stuff where I passed a spike earlier in season. Tough to sneak in there but I'm there. Lots of sign over there. 3 rubs and 4 scrapes. Didnt see anything but right before dark could hear one wading thru swamp and then cut across trail and go thru brush across from me. I waited til dark and snuck out. 1:30- dark.
