    i have 9 cameras and i think i have 2 that are the same. Usually xmas gifts. They are plastic but also have straps. Just figured i would try an extra level of stealth this year. And i think they see the little red light come on and it draws their attention. I guess if something new is in your living room you tend to notice it. So thinking i will try to hang them out of eye level. Something i have been thinking about from last season.

    i only change my cards once a month so im only in there once Aug 1, then Sept 1, - then when i am hunting the area i pull them during season. but i hate pics like this and then next pic is a fleeing tail up!

    gonna try to place them higher and pointing down, instead of eye level as well.

    just put all my trailcams in my hunting gear shed - gotta to get them ready to go for deployment Aug 1. And need the inside house stink off em. Figure a month outside ought to help get some smell off them and gonna be more careful placing them this year. Hate the pics of deer running away from them once in a while like they were an alien riding a bigfoot.

    i was thinking the same . Really would like to use the bow but once in a lifetime trip/tag was also taking the -06 if i get the chance.

    Thanks.Got him in 6S in Oneida co. Saw a bigger one later during muzzleloader and already had a deer down. Shot a buck that lost it's horns thought it was a doe, walked over to it and a monster buck jumped up 70 yards away. I had reloaded but couldn't get the shot. Def my best year, even though I started out tough. Almost had my first two mounts. Lol. Would've had to move some fish around on the wall. Dunno on age. But I really don't think it was an old buck. Wasnt a huge body or a lot of white in face or a Roman nose....etc.

    Yeah any of the first 6 . Nice. It's like a 90% tag fill rate there I believe. You are def gonna have some action. Prob gonna be hard to swap a cow tag for a bull tag but worth a shot. But that's gonna be a great hunt. Congrats

    Thanks everyone!!!! Out of thanks/likes. Me and buddy scored it this morn since we we couldn't get on the lake to fish. And he wasn't feeling that well. So we had breakfast and scored the buck. Used an online fill in. Came up with 127.5 . 15 scoreable points. One is not, it's just under an inch or it would be 16. Have 4 points that were between 1-2 inches. But don't really care too much about score but so many people ask. Most of you said between 125 and 130. You guys are good!

    Got my buck today. First buck I've ever had mounted. I'm sure no expert but think he did a good job. Spot I thought I was gonna put it didn't look right . Don't realize how much they stick out til its on the wall. But think it looks good there. And had to do a mojo and have a new mount beer! Lol

    Launched the boat went out to lake, turned boat around and back on trailer. White caps in the canal before we even got to lake and my backup of fishing the canal when it's windy is not an option.. Canal is brown and water into trees it's so high. Maybe tomorrow. Been a lot of days this year that I haven't fished because of weather ...
