    Hunt #9. 3:30-dark. CSS stand. Pulled cam there and not a single buck in a month. Have never seen a year like this for lack of bucks, yet a good amount of does. It's odd. Had a tiny doe in front of me at 4 yards. Then a huge doe step out about 55 yards just before dark and never got closer. At least some action. Corey was in pine and didn't see anything.

    It's just very strange this year. We have always had more bucks than does , even though most of them weren't big. This time last year we had 8 bucks on cams . This year 3 and two of those we've only got one day of. Dunno but hope some of the ladies draw something in. Esp weird since we do have a decent amount of does this year. Would say glad I'm not alone but hope you get some more bucks filtering in.

    I am in at CSS. This is the Corey Stota Stand. Cause he is the last one to take a deer out of it. If anything walks by over 90 lb it will be the RSS stand again!

    I don't get it this year. Pulled another cam this pm. Not a.single buck. .and this is where the 3 pt was like every day, and got pic of a big 6 before season. No one has hunted this spot at all yet. Least bucks I've ever seen on this property. And you can't say it's because we keep shooting them. We've taken one.accidental button out of here in the last 3 years. Quite a few does. It's weird.

    Had all my stuff in truck to stop on way home from work yesterday to hunt. Go to change and get ready and realize I had no pants. Lol Well hunting pants at least.

    It always seemed like there was a ton of 4 pointers and I just got so I said I was passing all of them. Lol so it just kinda stuck.

    I thought for sure some bucks would be dropping this morn. I have the least amount of buck pics on our spot ever this year. Hoping that picks up. 6 cam pulls and one buck pic. At least it's recent - yesterday. Meets my minimum 5 points there.

    Got a buddy that's retired. When he retired he started to redo his house stairs . Pulled them all out. When I went to visit they were still out like 2 months later. He said "turkey season started and I lost interest". Lol. And said " I really don't go up there much anyway.". He's also got three boats and hardly finds time to fish. Congrats on the retirement! I can't wait to.

    Got a friend of mine in Owego that used to run eel traps. He said the bottom of the boat would be filled with eels all over. No effin way... Sounds like a horror flick to me.

    Hunt #8 dark -10:15. Scrapetree stand. Saw 2 Fisher in the trail. Never seen 2 at a time before. Corey had 3 doe behind him at wayback but they never got in range. Pulled 6 cam cards. Lots of doe pics. Only one buck pic last night 5 pointer. But at least we got a buck and it is at my usual minimum line to shoot. Where we frost seeded clover at scrapetree it sure took!

    Pulled cards from 3 cams and not a single buck. Least bucks on cam we have ever had for sure. Will be in a usual buck spot tomorrow and pull cams out there and see if anything going on.

    Hunt #7 3:30-dark. Littlefield stand. Didn't see anything. Food plot looks chewed down pretty good. Got busted by a big body deer that was standing right in front of the groundblind I almost hunted Tonite and should have I guess. Had to be a buck. Will pull cam tomorrow and see if he went by it there. Got busted and he blew and took off in brush. Wrong choice tonight. Corey was in roadkill and saw nothing.

    I got one in the freezer so they walk. If I didn't they fall! Buddy also hunting property will drop one if he gets the chance. Probably about all the property could handle for the year. Not that many deer here to take too many. Plus my plan was to hunt hard later bow season this year and try to get a decent buck off this property in bow, xbow and first week of gun.
