    Thanks guys will do. Dry rub was brown sugar salt pepper red pepper Cajun shake garlic powder onion powder thyme and oregano. Smoking with Apple wood.

    That's gonna be some good eat ing. I'm thinking of smoking some country style ribs with a dry run then hitting the grill with some bbq sauce.

    Went out let shopping today with wife and friends in lake George are at log jam restaurant had the roast beef dip with bacon,lettuce, and tomato, with horseradish mayo. Buddy had crab cakes. Wife and friend split a Reuben and a soup. Clam chowder and French onion. Great salad bar not many seen anymore up my way. Good time just wanna know what is a good deal not a shopper.

    Bbq hamburgers and hotdogs and broccoli salad, chips, pickles, and dilly beans. Washed down with bud light.

    We fished on lake Champlain today. One nice 30in northern and one on bluegill it was huge. In an hour worth of fishing in late afternoon. Rest of the day we anchored off like a red neck yacht club drinking and chillin. Hot wasn't it. Northern will be fish tacos coming up.

    Well be just north of Plattsburgh. We launch out of point au roche. Gonna try to get on the bass and pike. Think there having a big tournament this weekend. LCI father's day fishing derby. Good luck.

    I've got a masterfully smoked the cheap one from gander. It works great just have to keep it out of any direct wind. Learned quick when I seen the fire was out and not up to temp it has a quick start click damn near blew me of my feet with the propane blast. Other then that great smoker for a small time smoker.

    Tonight we did eggplant parmesan over spagetti . Turned out really good.

    Homemade corn chowder with onions , potatos, bacon and corn. With cream of chicken and milk and seasonings. With crispy bacon and cheese on the top. Really good on a rainy afternoon.

    A buddy and I will be fishing lake champlain sunday. We will be concentrating on what ever hits our bait. Hoping for some big northern's and hope to get on some bass.

    Sorry no pics tonight was smoked pork shoulder and put in the crockpot for pulled pork.Served with sweet baby ray. Also had coleslaw and baked beans and corn on the cob. The pork was outstanding.

    IT'll take time but it'll work. I'm glad I got a potato farmer next door I just ask him to plow and till and he's happy to do it. He's got a 4 foot plow on the back of his tractor makes it a lot easier.

    I have a heavy duty walk behind cub cadet tiller. I picked it up for like 600 at tractor supply. I haven't tilled food plots but it did a great job tilling my garden the first year I started it exspecially with all the sod took a few times of running it through to get it the way I wanted it.

    Just put a pork shoulder on the smoker. Smoking with apple wood. Put a dry rub on it consisting of salt pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, red pepper flake, thyme, oregano, chili powder, Cajun shake, and brown sugar. Smoking at 250 degrees for a couple hours then into the crock pot for pulled pork with either sweet baby ray's or Stubb's.

    I will the next time we fish it. I'm usually already have my freezer full of bullhead by now. The ice never broke up there this year until almost the 3rd week of may. Last year I was fishing up there in late april. You know where the boat launch is we went out to the right and hit the channel b4 you go into kishqua lake. that's where we hit the northerns. You ever fish rainbow lake? There's lots of walleye in there. You can access from buck pond if you have a small enough boat.

    Went out last night for a little dusk fishing on buck pond. My buddy landed a couple pike and a rock bass and 5 perch. I Landed a small razor pike and a bullhead. We fished from 630 till 1230am Don't know why the bullhead weren't biting. .Overall just nice to get out and enjoy the water. Night boat fishing was different but a new experience.

    Rip Anthony Bourdain No reservations was one of my favorite shows. Really liked how he wasn't afraid to express himself and show who he really was. My favorite quote from him." I'm a total egg slut". Will miss his commentary on all sort's topics.
