Just got done doing 7 quarts of canned tomatoes. Still have quite a few making homemade salsa and canning it tomorrow.

Last night I did another 7 quarts of green beans from the garden 2 nights ago we did 1 quart and 11 pints of Christmas pickles aka cinnamon red hot candy pickles.

The saranac has a special trout fishing regulation up th are artificial lures only on the river. Slush pond is on route 30 in Duane or Paul Smith's. Never fished it. But if you have a canoe and ain't afraid of a carry black pond of kees e mi lls rd in Paul Smith's loaded with windfall trout and brookies make the trip to the back pond lots of good fishing. Buck pond camp ground and lake kis saqua is another great fishery. Northern bass salmon trout walleye languish its located in onchiota.

Go past both Nelson eds and go straight by taylo r pond. Keep straight the road will get windy you'll come to a private campground the left and right side it's just past silver lake mountain parking area. Take the next right hand turn on to silver lake road there. You'll see the trout fishing parking area i think there's 3 of them. If you follow the road to the end it'll put you on state route 3 take a right at the bridge. It'll take you into redford there's 2 bridges or e bed of rd bridge b4 maplefield store and pup hill bridge just down the rd.

Remington 7400 06 carbine. Being a big woods Hunter in there adirondacks shots are usually 50 to 100 yards depending. Remington core locks 150 grain. Everybody told me to up it to 180 but haven't had a problem yet.

Yes now it's a tops grocery store now if you keep going up silver lake past taylo r pond you'll hit silver lake campground and instead of following the silver lake rd to union falls dam. You take a right just past the campground and th3res special designated trout fishing areas on the saranac river. You ever fish the saranac river?

When you fished in a usable did you fish near the grocery store and the Bridge just after stewarts? Hurricane Irene ruined it there they had to do work to re route the river. I'm very familiar with taylo e pond and Franklin and union falls. My wife's family has a leased camp th ier. I'm like 15 mins from taylo r and 30 mins from Franklin and union dam.

Have you tried the saranac river? It's a world renowned trout fisherman's paradise. There's also if you have a canoe the st Regis chain of ponds around Paul Smith's college and lake clear. Their is also a part of the saranac river that dumps into frankli n falls that is loaded with trout also.

Canned another 7 pints and 3 quarts and 1 pint of dilly beans and 14 quarts of regular canned beans in 4 days. Been busy.
