    You fish isle la motte and piedlots bay on the Vermont side. I fish Kelly's bay just across the bridge in is it alburgh. Ill be fishing heavy this week just hope the ice holds. How much ice were you fishing on. I know when we get a south wind it breaks up pretty good. Hoping for a warm up just too open the main channel and the fish ill start coming into the bays again Ive been hearing all deep water is where there at.

    Tonight we had deep fried northern pike and perch with cheesy potatoes and side salad. The northern was very delicious. I fileted aand got out all the y bones and still had nice fillets.

    Where you fishing lake champlain I hear from the diehards we need the main channel to open fish are deep far and in between pickings hard this year. I'm up north Plattsburgh area

    Grilling up some new York strip steaks with the good weather. Paired with cheesy potatoes and asparagus and to top it off a salad. Green peppers and onions to accompany the steaks.

    I hunt a lot of big woods in the Adirondacks and put in timeless hours. The biggest deer I shot was this year in over 17 years of deer hunting a 6 point don't get me wrong Ive seenem but either the timing wasn't right or the shot wasn't ethical. Time will tell I know their there.

    Never shot one big enough to mount lol. Maybe it's just not in my cards to get a big buck down.

    I try to get freshly killed road kill deer if it's salvageable. Never can ever have enough venison. I've made a woodchuck soup/stew it was good reminded me of rabbit. All they eat are vegetables.

    Baked crusted cod homemade mac and cheese and left over cauliflower and cheese.

    Brought my wife out to our local seafood restaurant for lunch. She had a cup of lobster bisque And I had a cup of clam chowder. Really good vey fresh. She also had fish and chips fresh haddock and I had fresh shrimp basket. For dinner baked cod homemade mac and cheese and leftover cauliflower and cheese.

    Nice pike. Where you fishing? And what's the limit? I know certain lakes here in the Adirondacks were allowed 50 perch a day. But lake champlain there is no limit.

    Good luck. Hopefully within the next 5-10 years they'll open up a moose season up here in the dacks. There a lot to be had up here I'm told Ive seen 3 personally.

    Tonight we did country style pork ribs marinaded in dr pepper. Cooked in the crock pot then made dr pepper bbq sauce. Sided with stuffed 2 backed potatoes and cheesy cauliflower.

    I know hunting the Adirondacks not being a guy that sits. Ive had to shoot a lot of deer of hand and some even running it's difficult but if your comfortable with your rifle. And practice enough it's all systematic.

    Sounds good ill have to try that. On Friday we did perch and bullhead fish tacos. With sliced cabbage homemade pico de gallo which is tomatoes, onions, cilantro, jalapenos and fresh squeezed lime juice. We top it with a sweet chili powder sour cream sauce. Delicious!

    I was always taught in the army sight picture and breathing and trigger squeeze. We shot offhand and from supported positions.

    I know I'm a young man in an old soul no cell phone but next time ill have my wife get the camera and snap on. Let me tell ya they were great. Waiting for spring to hit the ponds for bullhead again. Ive been perch fishing but not catching enough so I still have to buy it lol. Sorry for no pic well get on it next time.

    Got a whole chicken in the rotisserie cooking having stuffed shells on the side and sweet carrots in brown sugar and butter and tossed salad on side.

    Just another black guy protesting the opening ceremony disgraceful for the united states. Ill be routing against him just for being stupid. And he skips the opening ceremony. Ill root for everyone else on team usa tho.
