  8. Doewhacker, I like the pink arrows what brand are they must make for easy findings after the shot on a deer. Nice shooting. Id like to get some and some lumnoks.
  9. Muck artic sports are a great all around boot also for year round use. Very warm early season and late and into ice fishing. Comfortable and affordable if you find em on sale. The only problem ive had was with the soles cracking resulting with the sole detaching from the toe of the boot. No biggie ive had multiple pairs they last for years.
  10. I understand the deer point but from what I know weve always used the year b4's tag for early bear until this year. I'm new to this so I'm just going off what I heard from friends that are big bear hunters. Hope it works out for what their trying to accomplish.
  11. We just had these changes in the northern zone for this year. I know one stupid rule for ice fishing on lakes that I fish up here is 50 perch a day that's ridicoulous. DEC and their plans.
  12. They managed to do away with both early bow and early bear tags from last year you have to use this years tags. Which means you miss out on extra meat.

  15. W What size boat you using? I just bought a 2010 bass tracker 16ft deep v 50hp mercury. Used only 40 hours on motor. Little small for that big lake.
  16. That bear right there is not this years cub so it has to be alone just by the size. What county is this? I know that bear needs to start foraging cuz he's skinny be lucky to make it through hunting season let alone winter in the adks.

  20. Also for walleye I use bottom bouncers the poor mans downriggers with steel leader and a rapalas. Also have been very successful.
  21. I will look that up. The lake clear wobblers are spoons just set up to a swivel hook on one end and 12-18 inches of line and a hook with a night crawler and troll. Green mountain grabbers are great for walleye. Thanks for the info.
