Windy again . I'm getting real good at hanging on to this Oak tree. I haven't seen a deer since Saturday morning. Niagara county been getting steady 15to 20 mph winds for 3 days. I'm ready for it to quit. No bucks on my camera ,last one I saw was Friday morning then two doe three fawns at doing about 30 next to the creek behind the house. Something needs to give. i took five deer in regular season and late muzzleloader out of the same blind Now i had my blind set at the back of the yard just before the field, so i never walked into the woods,just into the field to retrieve deer.At one point I had 3 behind me and ten in front of me while I was dragging.Took two on thanksgiving day one in the early evening and then a half hour later three more came out, one of them came home with me to.So I would think only if you get busted by the deer that your not going to be seeing them.

Something broke through the swamp this morning at seven. Made quite a bit of racket 30 or so yards behind me I never saw anything from inside my blind. Otherwise it's been pretty quiet for me. Even the wood ducks seem to have floated down a few hundred yards. Sent from my XT1028 using Tapatalk

I didnt see anything this morning or this evening I didnt hunt mid day. Seems the wind had then hunkered down or I was just in the wrong place . Oh well back at it in the morning. Better luck last day everyone.Looks like its going to be a good day. A little cooler and less windy tomorrow the safety goes off.

your not kidding the wind is blowing in niagara county . Last night the wind was not blowing and the acorns and tree bits were falling . One landed right on top of my blind and ill tell the truth it scared the shit out of me. But im going back out to see whats moving. good luck.

Headed back to the swamp Hoping to see a shooter. Going to move my stand over about 15 feet as i got busted yesterday. i saw the deer when the deer saw me. I hate it when that happens.
