  1. I seen a bunch over in Erie County in a corn field, that still had some corn standing. Sum really nice Toms in the mix.
  2. Hobart, now theirs a name I haven't heard in a long time. They were the small block building a little north of the town garage. My father use to have them butcher hogs and cattle back in the early 70's. Last time going by, I don't even think the building stands anymore. We use to buy water from Trapper back in the 60's also.
  3. Could be a Long Island thing. I know communities SW of Albany take their Big Foot sightings serious. I seen a tall metal statue up that way, tew years back. Maybe in Whitehall New York.
  4. In good shape for this time of year. Could be still nursing which helps.
  5. How many thousand would that 1914 Indian bike be valued at in it's original shape? Restored, would it be worth 100K?
  6. The knowledge these people share is priceless. I have earned the upmost respect for them . They are the building block of America.
  7. Would be great to hang two deer off one cable.
  8. I always weigh the finish product, to get an idea how many pounds I truly have before freezing. I need another freezer, LOL
  9. It could be a lift in population. I know the clover been growing the last month or better here. Deer visiting with prints in the soil. Some of the low spots with standing water, have grass greening already. I can't say I've seen many years like this one
  10. And remember wolc123 girth measurement. How could we ever forget that? LOL.
  11. While hauling maple sap yesterday, I seen turkey in the clover. They know where the protein is.
  12. This one went 247#. Large body that had trouble fitting in a 72" loader bucket.
  13. I find far more people today get very defensive on a subject they feel strongly about then they did, say 25 years ago. I wonder why that is?
  14. To operate a motorized boat should have required a license years ago. Anything curved to lower the accident rate, I'm all in favor of. Of course, the law fell way short , as typical in New York. Now, what are they going to do about 33 percent of all boating deaths are alcohol related? Just pass a law making the alcohol to go. Makes as much sense as the non license requirement for recreational boating.
  15. The only thing I don't like about Erie Canal fishing are the rocks that line the bank. Lose a lot of tackle. I would not ingest anything that comes out of that canal. You don't know where that canals been.
  16. The whole thing will implode. I not throwing away my filing cabinets. Will need the back up.
  17. I wish Remington all the luck and hope they can Manufacture a great product again. They had some really good firearms, in the day.
  18. They do a fine job. I kinda miss swapping out the SD cards though. We still keep a few, for old times sake. The nicest part is when someone tries to steal the cam, you got their picture..
  19. Keep being proactive. Promote voting and voter resistration in New York.
  20. Was he trying to promote the fur market? Or just showing off some more of his money, he has made? I'm sure it cost some $.
