  1. LOL, With 50 years of Agricultural experience, I don't think it's nutrient issue.
  2. Like to get some ideas on purchasing an ATV. Looking at 400 or a 500, non China series / 4 WD.. Power steering is a strong consideration. If you had 5 grand or little less to spend, What would you buy?
  3. Bubba led me onto BH209 powder so many years ago. Glad I listened to him. Best clean burning powder in the world. I sure miss his input on here.
  4. This guy, I have to agree, they will tear up a tree in pretty short order.Don't know how close to the ground they go though.
  5. Some Some spots in my radish leaves are now turning yellow, no frost. Think it could be a blight.
  6. No way, I fought for a October 1st opener for years.
  7. That is strange. I have had radish go through some pretty cold weather with tops still standing. They stood over 24 inching tall though. My wheats been in a week, just sprouting. We had so much rain one day July 26, the soil was washing out down the potato rows. Now it's gone bone dry again.
  8. Taking a day off hunting for steak and lobster next month. Always a winner!
  9. My fields have been hammered pretty good this year. Radish acres are almost gone. Knew I should have planted at least 4. Ate all the red clover blossoms off already. Wheat is juxt coming up. All should fair well if we get one uo here.
  10. Built a 34 x 40 twenty years ago; few years later, found out I needed a 34 x 60'. Always build a little extra.
  11. Looks like Sportlover.com is a fan of the Muck Boot brand. I never have had much luck with Muck Boots, I am now trying the DryShod brand slip on boot. Similar look to the Muck, but at a more value minded price. Priced at $108 . Same original owner of the Muck boot; started a new brand,
  12. An animal will eat anything that smells good to them.
  13. Finally, a late season Bow, Muzzleloader hunt option. Hope it goes through!
  14. Bow only season, I like to display orange on the walk in and out times. Never know who might be out there waiting to release an arrow, legally or not. All it takes is once.
  15. I been using a Sabre, maybe 4 1/2 inch folder for quite a long time. It's an inexpensive knife that holds an edge really well. I;ve ground the tip off of so I don't get poked. I have never lost it but, would not feel near as bad as a more expensive one, if I were to. In combination with my Buttout 2 combo; which works really good, I can get the deer aimming towards the sky rather quickly.
  16. A six inch value minded hold saw is tough to find; been drilling mine 6.250.
  17. They sure are fun to build and decorate. They even sell fancy color changing lights for'em. Go Bills!
  18. Would be great for backhoe application. Technically, a front end loader is not design to use for hard digging application , no matter who the manufacture is.
  19. Great Post! Really enjoying the deer - tractor photos. To me, a 4 wheeler is a design failure waiting to happen, given really hard use.
  20. Watched 2 hens and 18 poults cross the road in front of me in the town of Lockport last. I'd say a dang good hatch. It was just like Christmas for me.
