I know dicks has retail store but I never seen a field and stream store . Btw have not seen a AR in a big box store in 10 years probably. Don't think that is nothing new . They just looking for free advertising getting there brand on the news is worth millions .

They talk about gun control but really we need to be talking about kid contol keeping kids especially mentally sick kids away from all the violence in video games and movies . Right now its a joke . Don't tell me all that gore and violence in realistic video games and movies don't have a big part of why this is happing because it started right around the time things changed for the worse in the 90s . Around You take a kid that is mental to begin with and then feed him all that crap for years and don't watch over them right . And you get things like this .

Sure a lot of the problem is the parents, some they teach there dogs better values then there kids these days and spend more time with the dog then the kid . You see them in the shopping centers now with the dog ,instead of spending time with there kid they bring the dog to the mall and supermarket . Crazy

Which fuels these nutjobs because that's what they're after attention . If the media did not cover these storys or at least not cover it so much . You would not have others trying to copy what the last idiot did .

I heard something like that is what is going on in NYC these days with de Blasio making the cops forced to low ball the real crime rate numbers to make big Bird look good on tv . Go back 70 80 100 years ago You use to be able to buy hand guns at the local hardware store no permits to carry nothing. Even in mail order catalogues Everyone had a gun back then . There are more guns now only because now the people who have them own many more . Not because more people have them .But because the people who do buy them buy more each . And most the guns from 100 years ago are still around to . You go back 80 90 years ago or more every single person was armed . You got to ask your self who gave these clowns the idea that it would be fun cool to go around killing people just for kicks . Way back when 40 50 years ago Before when video games and movies were more censored restricted you did not have this problem They need to do a better job of keeping these weak minded nut jobs away from that trash .And off the drugs . And take them more seriously when they start making threats .

50 60 70 80 Years ago before we had any background checks or gun control and guns were every place more then now we did not have school shootings most high schools had rifle teams . Indoor ranges even . Society got more violent in this country while Europe stayed the same. It had nothing to do with gun restrictions . It's the glorification of violence that the media in this country promotes and the breakdown of the family values and religion. That created this problem

Turns out this thing could have been stopped by the parents or the cops or the FBI slowly the truth about it is coming out if you have incompetent people running things in goverment these things will happen more then they should they were warmed about this guy . He made death threats multiple times he could have been charged but cops gave him a pass 30 times . The real problem is who was running the police department down there

These gun control nuts use everyone of these as a pretext to push there agenda. If we can't ban Muslims or any high crime minority group because a small percent of them do crime why should gun owners be collectively punish for the actions of less them .00001 It is a slippery slope.

That is not going to happen . They may rase the age to 21 for AR 's to shut them up and have a better system for background checks. This way these psychos can just Steel the guns or get them on the black market or make ieds . That is all that is going to happen

Let me ask you something when a kid gets killed by a car which happens almost ever day in this country do you say hey I feel bad i will get rid of my car and use a horse to go to work No you don't why? because Why should you be punished for someone else's bad driving. So why should millions of gun owners who did nothing wrong be punished for the acts of less then .000001 ? Of gun owners because it makes some feel good really ?

Hey look how many kids have you known that have been shot with a AR ? Or how many have you known that have been shot in a school with A AR? Honestly don't care for ARs if was up to me would make it so you had to be over 21 years old to get a AR unless you are military or law enforcement and maybe even older . But that is because I have no interest in them others will fight tooth and nail for law to be left alone and those guys really really think it is important as I and most the population are indifferent to it

Well it comes down to money really even in NYC someone with the money can still get most what ever they want legally . They want to make it like it is in Europe. Lots of red tape . But it will never be that bad here at least not in or lifetime
