  1. From all that I tried 3 inch rem sluggers group the best in my 1187 . That I have had from the 90s With improved choke . That does not mean it will shoot as well in this or any other shotgun you have to test them out to know for sure . The 3 inch Winchester work good to in mine
  2. Using a .410 would be like using a 22 lr unless your taking a head shot at really close range I think it is inhumane to us something like that on deer . Unless you like trakking all day long for it waiting for it to die a slow death .no thanks
  3. I would make a stock and turn your longbow into a crossbow if civilization got down to that point
  4. Mcchaipp1- Just saw this Chiappa make a version of the m1 carbine in 9mm That uses any Beretta 92 mag M1-9 Carbine And ita half the price of the inland . That' tempting me to get one now lol Or maybe not seems to not have the best reviews. But maybe they worked out the bugs on the new ones .
  5. .410 ? Lol are you joking me The one I was looking at was 12ga with a 3inch chamber 12 ga is all I use on deer and preferably 3 in shells M6 FOLDING SHOTGUN/RIFLE W/ 8 INSERTS. SKU: CF500.184. Type of gun: Over & Under. Caliber: 12GA-3"/22LR. Action: Folding Break Open. Barrel Length: 18.5". Chokes ... Caliber: 12GA-3"/22LR Type of gun: Over & Under Barrel Length: 18.5"
  6. I don't think you would want to get hit by any bullet or be on the receiving end of someone spraying you with bullets for that matter . Yea even if it does not kill you right on the spot if you don't seek immediate medical attention there is a good chance you could bleed to death or die anyway later on .
  7. Know anything about the new inland m1 carbines That would be on my short list to .
  8. Depend on the load some of the high velocity 22 lr stuff puts out 200 Foot pound of energy . But I think if we are talking end of civilization type scenario a light carbine or submachine gun would be my choice. Like the Beretta Cx4 Storm In 45 or 9 . In a lost I need to survive rescue situation probably a Ar-7
  9. That's not with lead pellets those speed ratings but it will definitely do a number on a squirrel anyway
  10. Why not it beats a spear or arrow at close range I here farmers sometimes use them to put down sick horses , cows pretty much any farm animal you can think of. From close range with good shot placement there is not much you couldn't kill with one.
  11. I can't remember the exact name of it got it at dicks few years back .
  12. I was looking at few combo shotguns online like the m6 that have one shotgun and one 22 rifled barrel . Question can you legaly deer hunt with something like that ,in shotgun only zones if you only load the shotgun barrel ?
  13. Last year used my pop up blind in 0 degree weather worked fine
  14. Interisting nobody here picked one of the survival guns market as only a survival gun like the AR7 or m6 .
  15. I like the mini thirty a little better I would think hard about buying that if it was .
  16. Why stop there just have no gun season for 2 or 3 years guys will probably still be here complaining I bet:)
  17. Not exactly what I had in mind was thinking Shipwrecked on a desert island or plan crash in the middle of nowhere kinda of scenario . If your talking having to kill zombie apocalypse or end of civilization. I say ak or AR Or a sub machine gun like the Beretta m12 or a mp5 because there more compact
  18. I will not be going out and buying a high end expensive crossbow until I know for sure crossbows are here to stay and the season and rules are set in stone . There is a lot of cool stuff out there for sure
  19. Well if you going to go that route I like the Russian sks. since are great state says we cant have anything with pistol grip and detachable magazine because it's too scary:)
  20. Just name your favorite survival rifle or what you think is the best one.
  21. I would say if anything never forget to bring a good fire starter to a remote place like that you never know . Besides maps GPS and compass
