    I was at a NRA rally right after the safe act was implemented. Over heard a couple NRA schmucks talking. "THIS IS A LOST CAUSE WHY ARE WE WASTING OUR TIME. " dont know who they were but they were not the average Joe blow .

    Pete I was just shopping in big flats area and I saw a guy that I recognized from someplace. I remembered the video when I got home . Could be your brother if it wasn't you.

    Not trying to start a pissing match but I have noticed a smaller variety of factory offerings in 30/06 at lgs. It's a great round. I think there's to many other offerings pushing it aside . The fan base has matured and I know that I dont much care for the recoil out of my 760.

    Never cheated ... didn't have to . We prided ourselves on no expression and no chit chat. Silent destruction we called it. Learn more by watching other people . My brother was hard core seriouse about cards. He would let me know after we were done my mistakes.

    Never looked past the 308 . Works for what I want or need . With its popularity I doubt 6.5 will go anywhere for a while. A lot of people got on the short mag Express a few years ago and they all bitch about finding ammo and the price. More than a few have dumped the shortmags for 6.5. I'm a tried and true kind of guy for the most part . That said I am liking the 204 ruger and 480 ruger . Probably the newest calibers in the safe.

    Played a lot in school . Use to parlay my lunch money into date money for the weekend . My brother and I were a tuff team to beat.

    Great story. I had a spot like that I use to fish with a core group of friends . Tuff place to get to but man was the fishing good . After 10 years or so the secret spot flooded out and changed to a silted bottom . Fish were none existent. Ok only one friend left that would of cared and he is living in South Carolina. Called to tell him . He laughed said that stretch did that every so often and the next flood would clean it out and in a year or so the fish would be back. He was right.

    Diesel has paraffin in it .Paraffin gels. Plugs up fuel lines and filters. When warm it does liquefy again but will leave a residue in filters and such. I dont know a thing about woody's arrow lube

    They use to close the schools for the kids being bussed in when I was a kid. Diesel would gel. But the kids that lived close enough to walk still had to go. Never understood it. Just the way it was.

    I have only ever had the advantage of using a 4 wheeler to drag a deer once. I shot a nice buck on stateland and dragged down a hill onto a farm I had permission to hunt. A friend had his 4 wheeler in his truck and drove out a quarter mile to get it . It was convenient... kind of felt like cheating. All other deer my wife and killed I have dragged. The boys I made them drag there own . I feel they needed to experience the whole process from shot to butchering . Was the way I was taught.

    Yup I see a 4 wheeler in my future once the tractor is paid off.. problem is i dont t have much use for it outside of ice fishing and perhaps dragging a deer out from the back corner of my property.

    Nice ... like to fish oneida but the walk out and back is killer . I fish out of Cleveland for a lack of knowledge of lake . Have caught short walleye never a keeper. Got into jumbos on occasion. Wish I lived closer and had a machine to get out deeper.
