  1. I agree. But it does make it more capable to dig into mulch piles ... scrape gravel and rock up. It also shears off small brush at ground level. When I buried my sons mastiff I used it to dig a 5 foot deep hole in rocky creek bed type soil. There's no way I could have done that without the toothbar.
  2. This is the first implement I would tell anybody to get for a new tractor. Its a game changer and makes a FEL useful. https://www.bxpanded.com/ piranna tooth bar . Protects the edge of the fel. Makes digging much easier.
  3. There is a technique to taking down trees and getting stumps out . Biggest i have ever done was 5 inches . Push the tree at about 5 foot up get it rocking using the momentum push it over once its falling back up so the roots don't get caught between the loader and the tractor. Then hook and curl the roots and push out. It's not the best at it . It takes some time . Sometimes depending on the tree once its down i will limb and buck it up leaving a few feet for leverage on the stump. Chain over an old truck tire for leverage usually gets them out . Bx is not made for logging but it will get it done .. Not sure it will work for all trees . I'm working with poplar.
  4. Dont know how to transfer pictures from the app but I have had 20 pictures of deer last night and this morning. The thumb pictures sent to the app aren't the greatest. I guess it only sends jpeg to the app.
  5. Nice ... alot of work .. looks like fun . Must have a finish to the story.
  6. I have a bx 2670 kubota . Its a subcompact. R4 tires hydrostatic trans. works great around the house . Largest lawnmower i could get and still put it in my shed ... mow under and around trees. While its no farm type tractor I have moved alot of heavey rock trees and brush . I cleared trees and brush on my food plots moved rock and flood debris from three floods . That said its all I wanted in a subcompact . 26 hp 19 at the pto. Runs a 4 foot brush hog np. 4 foot tiller np . Yup it takes longer than if I was running a bigger tractor. But it gets the job done. Being its under 26 hp I don't have to deal with obummer era regen regs. I will be getting an older L 38 40 something for the property in the future..
  7. Thanks I should take some close ups of the small stuff.
  8. Ok got it done. Set up and I hope its running . I went with the pro.. year long pkg. Have it set up acrossed the plot from my drive way. Kind of a security camera . I backed down the hill waited a couple minutes . Pulled up sat for 10 seconds or so and got a picture. I keep looking to see if I got pictures but nothing.
  9. Wish I could tell whats what as far as the seedlings .... it all looks alike to me . Heck for all I know I have radish with a great crop of weeds lol
  10. Your right.... its going to get some light .... there's a large backhoe sitting up there waiting for it to dry out a little .
  11. Went up and put up trail cams . Didn't make the top of the hill and had critters in my kill plot Main food plot has taken off too. I think i have clover finally coming up
  12. I happened to be in sportsmans warehouse and picked up a tacticam reveal . Not real sure how the billing is done . If I pay for a plan am I paying for the activation of the cell cam and then pay monthly to Verizon also. I understand data usage if I download to my phone on network. Should be no charge if I run it through wifi right ?
  13. That plot was planted with a full bag of triple 19 and a full bag of lime
  14. Thats a fall blend rape, kale, clover, turnips . I might have seeded a little heavey. Was suppose to do 1/4 acre broadcasted. I did my 2 smaller plots with this blend . My bigger plot was clover/radish which is 2/3 to 3/4 acre. Shaded places came in nice . Sunnier spots are slow in germination. We need more rain. I'm learning alot this year hopefully next year I can put it all together.
  15. He will look nice on your wall.
