Great question ... never was a new guy. Started young following my uncles and my gramps . Just came to me out of habit. Back in the day we hunted very large pieces of private property . Larger tracks of state land . We never hunted state land first week. I guess it would be a daunting task to learn to hunt today with no mentor.

Just picked a big basket of tomatoes 6 yellow squash 4 more zucchini 2 honeydews. Wife says she picked yesterday ... i have my doubts. San Marzano are starting to ripen. Next week we will be making sauce.

Yea don't want a green egg. Don't want to deal with charcoal and temp control . And stacking food . I like the set it and forget it of the masterbuilt .

My smoker is starting to show its age.. 30 inch digital Masterbuilt. Seals are leaking on the door handle is pulled off the back . Racks have had the chrome scrubbed off . Probably 10 years old . Still works fairly well. Wife gave me the go a ahead to get a new one . I really liked the Masterbuilt digital. Problem is the current models aren't getting very good reviews and apparently customer service has really tanked . Wife doesn't want a pellet grill. And I don't have a dry place to store a pellet grill. So anybody else using an electric smoker what models . I would like to upgrade to the 40 inch masterbuilt but with the problems with the digital controller I'm gunshy of buying another Masterbuilt.

They are making money ... and alot of new models that have been asked for years. Adj. sites on the bear cats .. 480/454 in a single action. Bisley grips .. hunter versions ... convertibles. It's a good time to be in the revolver game .

My buddy has a Taurus raging bull in 44 mag . Grips on it are quite comfy.. thing shoots lights out ... Great gun unless your sitting next to it at the range .... why anybody puts holes in a perfectly good barrel I don't know . I have to wear double hearing protection when he shoots it . I have shotba couple 357 trackers ? They are nice. One had problems with trigger, Taurus fixed it and he had it back in a couple of weeks .

Hey now you don't know if he had a custom super bh in the 41 mag ..... just saying . Let's not forget super blackhawk hunter. Available in plowhandle and bisley on the super frame.

Ok so my plans have changed ... I'm not working the property today . As i sit here watching the smoker I have been thinking about how to pack the seed on my 2 smaller plots . One will be next to impossible to roll. I'm wondering if my tractor with r4 tires will be able to do the job just driving back and forth . I guess it could be too heavey. Loaded tires .. 2000 lbs total . What do you guys think. The bigger plot has grass to contend with . I planned on mowing then disk as one spot is 12 inches tall. Some have said seed then mow ... disk in . Will that blow the seed and will disk crush the seed . Not sure what to do .

Look at the shoot as a try before you buy ....

Resting for an hour before it hits the smoker. I have to do 4 more by next weekend as I'm cooking for mother in law 90th birthday party. I don't usually care about smoking but man I have alot to do . I'm supposed to be up on the property disking and planting . Got to love when my lovely wife volunteered me ... Guess I was voluntold.

Can't find a scope .... cabelas didn't have what i was looking for but I did get some long underwear and a new day pack. Looking online and majority of the places are sold out of the 1.5x4. I might have to put a 3x9 on it ...
