Yeah if they piranhaed it overnight guessing good population of wuzzles I haven’t had that happen and hope I never do. Pics seem to increase once the gut piles fall...wouldn’t mind knocking a few down if I can but they are such wary nomadic critters. will give it a shoot this winter

Same here Rob I have tried hunting them some but have no real successes or passion for hunting them. Lifetime I have Taken 2 yotes thus far and 4 fox 3 w bow and 1 w shotgun. Only been hunting for them a few times a few during day and some at night. Ones I have taken were just opportunistic shots don’t have any trapping experience but am not against it or others doing it. So seeing a few less wuzzles on cam wouldn’t bother me Perhaps turkey numbers would grow as a result

I have done it that way and enjoy shooting and cleaning too. If I don’t fire a shot was gonna do it that way w a light swab and good scrubbing. though I would prefer to smell of gunpowder tonight perhaps though I am just enjoying the last peace of the season

Me...I got some work putting things in order and cleaning stuff to do but nothing that can’t be tackled on New Year’s Eve and day with some Tito’s and Cranberry Gingerale. Good for the stomach and sorting cleaning. Course remembering where I put everything next year is always an adventure. Ha. Guess it’s time to check it over take stock mentally and go into withdrawal til Next year.

This year has been a good one overall in spite of the pandemic challenges. Of my family and friends we lost no one and only know a few that got sick. So hopefully that continues into 2021 and the vaccine takes effect. As a result of the changes I found a more flexible work schedule that also led to one of my best years production ever. This allowed me to stress less and hunt a little more than I normally would. I enjoyed connecting with some nice deer along the way had some great laughs too. I truly enjoyed interacting and hearing from all of the forum members. So all told 2020 will go down as a good one just wishing the same for 2021 but with normal life again. Hope the same for everyone else as well

Thanks Pygmy he’s exhausted he’s been going for Ducks this past week from 3:30 every morning. He’s been hunting each day till about mid day sometimes a little after then working then going and picking up the kids and his wife is about ready to divorce him no just kidding. Today I called him on the way home from work and he told me he’s out of bullets and can’t find any anywhere’s so I told him to stop out because I had a couple boxes. He got out to the house at around 330 and we decided to go sit out at the Buckform As soon as we got out there deer were in the field and more were coming in. We saw a group of bux along the hillside chasing a doe they chased her across the field and towards the other end. We thought about getting down and trying to make it to the first blind in my field and started to do that when they came back chasing her back down our way we were out on the steps then so Eric stood on the middle platform and she ran up past us he stopped at about 60 yards 2 other bucks were behind him and coming quick and Eric fired. Lots of smoke and the buck ran ran a little ways across the field not far and collapsed. I said holy crap you got him. He was all smiles Pygmy, I couldn’t be more proud of him kid works his butt off. He told me he was going again in the morning .....to be young again happy holidays
