Arse for went to pick up chicken feed and price jumped 4 bucks in 2 weeks....listened to the chatter in 3 different places...they are talking possible 40% hikes in every thing by years end...now lot of that maybe alarmist...and God I hope so ...because corn and government have their routers ready and aiming for our back sides...how did the human race allow oil..natural gas and CORN...make or break societies...because that is what it FEELS like

It has to do with the droughts in many areas and the corn and bean crops failing this year. Theyve been saying thats what was going to happen for months.

There is a huge demand for corn to make Ethanol so they can screw up gas engines , That will rais e the cost of corn and gas .

You would think that with all of the crop failures, etc, the smart thing to do to keep food costs to a minimum would be to cut the ethanol production, and stop adding it to the gas, at least for now.

i buy 1 bay of corn or scratch and it last a month, i bay of layer last 2 month. i let mine out early after noon and they eat at the neighbors

Corn or corn byproducts are in many foods, it's pne reason why Americans are fat. Between oil in packaging and corn in foods, our grocery bills are are going to go up considerably.
