burmjohn
A Georgia couple is building a $3.5 million indoor shooting range that will feature a full bar, serving alcohol to its patrons. So, is this the start of a potentially dangerous new business model where intoxicated firearm enthusiasts will literally be shooting from the hip? Well, not exactly. WSBTV reports that Lakeside Guns Shop owner Kristina Brown plans to open the multi-million dollar indoor range with her husband in Powder Springs. And when it comes to being state of the art, the "Governor's Club" will not only have the best technology available to marksmen, it will also have Makers Mark. http://news.yahoo.com/blogs/sideshow/georgia-indoor-gun-range-given-liquor-license-opening-192214797.html

Culvercreek hunt club
Alot of the shoooting clubs have bars. I don't see this as any different. Rochester Brooks has a great bar. They take the same approach about once you are served....At least they said that in the orientation

Culvercreek hunt club
Ya know...come to think of it so does our club...been so long since I've been there I forgot...don't handle smoke well I have never seen smoking at Borrks but I was just shooting at another club and they were. Hadn't really thought about it until you said that. I quit smoking 7 months ago and the smell bothered me but I didn't even think how weird it was to see smoking in a bar. Must be because it is private club they can?

Doc
Well, fortunately they have something in place to counter the alcohol and gunpowder mix. I was thinking about this very same thing yesterday as I stumbled across a pile of empty beer cans (8 of them) piled next to a tree. Some of these guys apparently party while they hunt ...... yikes. Glad I wasn't hunting that section of the hill that day .... lol.
Geno C
Insurance has to be through the roof for that establishment lol. but then again, might not be to bad since its down south. hmm a strip club, shooting range with a bar. could be on to something here, throw a DJ setup in there and it could also be a club... the sky is the limit
