Someones demise? Were talking about fenced hunts and cwd, not anyones demise.

Fenced hunts???? Did you not just make the remark on another post that high fence was not hunting!! Now you refer to fenced hunts. When you spew off about cwd, Something that clearly shows you were clueless about and then remarks about how a farmer runs his business!! If it has nothing to do with you or effect you then why the comments?

I believe in the organic thing. I family buys almost everythign organic. don't confuse "free range" with "organic." Whether or not they are allowed to walk free, doesn't speak to the growth hormones, anti-biotics and all the other shit they pump animals with. it is quite disgusting. As far as fruits and veggies, not having all the chemical laden fertilzers and pestisides is a big deal. I really don't care so much for me, but my 2 little kids at home I care a whole lot. You would all be very surprised at what you ingest!! Funny thing is, my wife, who is big on the free range and organic meat, won't eat deer. LMAO. Doesn't get any more free range or organic than that!!

I'm not sure, but I believe that the ecoli scares and recalls have nothing to do with chemicals, but rather good old organic manure. Maybe some of those chemicals aren't all that bad after all.

Keep your stupid coments to yourself on here and nobody here will have to get over anything. Keep your coments about something you think you might know something about, Not something you are clueless about.

So according to you, Im not allowed to comment on things? I suggest you step down off that high horse, because it will hurt when you fall off of it.

Lets review, I commented on the disposal of a deer carcass (what the thread is about), you asked if anybody thought about CWD when they dispose of deer carcasses, I responded with a light hearted joke and a real answer to your question, you got your little pink panties in a wad and started with the nonsense of telling me I shouldnt comment on anything.

My theory is that my farm deer joke hurt your feelings, because you cant take a joke, and my answer showed that you were worried about something that need not be worried about in 99.9999999% of all cases in this state. That percentage is probably a bit low seeing as theres been what? 1 or 2 wild deer found with CWD in the entire history of NY?

Id love to sit here and play some more, but I have better things to do than respond to your lame BS. Like I said, get over the joke, and get over yourself.

I read that the regulation and definition of organic is so lax that only slight modifications are needed to label something as being "organic". i.e. Chickens are held in pens like non-organic chicken but during the last two weeks of their life, they open the doors granting them access outdoors. The chicken don't actually go outside since they never knew life other than the pen and by the time they work up the courage to walk outside, they're slaughter. They also change their diet during this 2 week period which allows to slap the "free range" and "organic" label on the chicken.

I think that to be truely organic is pretty strict standards but I could be wrong. Free range is different of course. True organic stuff requires a whole line of approved process's right down to what they feed the animals that make the manure that they put on the dirt for fertilizer.

Not my thing to worry about organic or not, but a lot of folks do.

No its your stupid little slams on the subject that gets me!

Lets recap, How about your little comment on the AR thread say post #53 with a stupid little joke as you call it. Then we can go to post #29 of this thread with another little jab. It shows you are clueless on the subject, Nobody asked your opinion on the subject but you just like to keep throwin little jabs about the subject. Its none of your business how, what or where someone else hunts so i see no need for you to keep throwin the crap around!

As far as the cwd goes it shows that you dont even know the facts of how it even became in Ny State so you might want to leave that to someone in the know!! Dont let the little bit of power you have on your keyboard go to your head because its really not that big of a deal!!!

Awww, poor deer farmer cant take a joke. Waaaaahhhhhhhh. Cry me a river.

The mere idea that you have in your head that you think you can tell me (or anyone else for that matter) what I can or cant do on this forum or otherwise is pathetic. I dont give a damn what you think, honestly.

Seems you like to make your jokes at other expense. Trust me as far as giving a rats a$$ about what you think we are on the same page. If you want to spew off, Have at it but when it makes you look like a fool like it did on the cwd deal. Deal with it!!!

FSW --seems like you are overreacting. you asked if anyone thought about CWD when dumping carcasses his respons was -no becasue he doesn't shoot farm deer. which is truthful if he doesn't and in all honesty based on the history of CWD in NY, captive deer are attributed as being the typhoid Mary of it. Then you lost you cool. I can see you being sensative since you are involved in an industry that released a potential plague into the NY whitetail to make a few bucks.(pun intended)

Let's look at it logically. the dumping of a carcass that may have not shown signs of CWD in the early stage wouls have contaminated spinal and ceribral fluid. The animals that are drawntot he carcass would not be cervids and I have seen no research that indicated any other group could contract it. (ie coyotes). If that deer was infected it is far more likely that the urine and feces (and even saliva) that it dropped would come in contact with the other deer in the area. And since there have been no other cases(they even closed the quarantine area) I don't see the concern.

Wow, Welcome to the clueless boat i guess!! Do you or most anyone on here have a clue what cwd is, Where it comes from and what the sign's are? First off there is no such thing as early signs of cwd as far as the deer is concerned, Unless you cut its head off and pull a sample. You very well could have taken a handfull of infected deer and not even known it. Do you know anything about cwd pirons? Do you even know about the cases of cwd we had in Ny state or how the wild deer even came in contact with it. Do some research before you come on a public site and make a fool of yourself!!
