Back from Wyoming

Just got back the other day from a Wyoming rifle mule deer/archery elk hunt. It was about an hour from Jackson Hole and another 3 hour horse ride from there. Hunt was high country from 7-10K feet. Got a beautiful mulie and missed a 6x6 bull. Tough hunt but had a blast. Here's a few pics.

Really nice Mulie! I'd be more than happy with that next week while I am out there for my first Mule Deer. Do you measure it?

Thanks. No, I didn't. I'm not obsessed with scores like some people are. Outfitter told me 160 ish. All I know is he will look beautiful on my wall. He's gonna make some of my whitetails looks small though.

Yea, I hear ya. If I get a mule deer, I will have to put it far away from my whitetails lol.

EDIT: very nice 4x4......some here will say "are you blind" cant ya count? Out there,the locals dont count the brows.Nonetheless,that is a wall hanger for sure.

Nice Mulie!! I know the area well.My wife and I did a pack trip with an outfitter in July of1998,Bridger National Forest.What a great area.We came upon a skull and rack of a poached Elk hanging from a tree.The outfitter took it down and turned it over to the local Fish and Wildlife.If I can dig up the picture,I'll post it.

Thanks. Yeah, the oufitter also does pack trips in the summer. I'm thinking of bringing the family back for that. Beautiful country.
