Just picked up a Ruger M77 in 270 . Has Leupold 3 x 9 scope on it . Any pros or cons. Something I should be looking for. Thanks

most would look for pros and cons BEFORE they get a gun..................270 is a good caliber

My son has a M77 in .243... excellent rifle. When new, the action was a little catchy but after sitting watching TV and just opening and closing with a light spray of oil in it, the action smoothed out. If yours is used it may be fine.

I have a Ruger M-77 in 7mm-08, before that I had one in .243. It is an excellent rifle (accurate) . The action on both of mine were a little stiff too, but after working it for a while and applying a little oil, it smoothed right out. 270 is a great round. You should be happy.

I have a remington 700 in 270. Sighted in and hunt with hornady "custom" ammo. Great caliber, great ammo.
