my 12 yr old is going to be on watch with his bow.Soooooo.i am thinking of sitting with my bow too at about 50 yrds from him in the thickest crap on the property.I think it is like having a gun.2 bows.we will cover about 85 yard of the corridor.I think is sounds fun.

Yup! 65 degrees today, but the weekend looks good for me:

Saturday = high 46, low of 31, 6mph wind. Sunny.

Sunday = high 47, low of 36, 8 mph wind. Mostly Cloudy.

I'm off 11 out of the first 13 days of SG i love to hunt just hope it doesn't take them all ! Opening day I'll be with my 22 y/o daughter who's coming home from grad school for her first OD.

She has the green light for anything, everyone else is held to muture bucks and does.

Even when i shoot a buck right off,like last year at first light I still hunt all day, and the next and any day my buddies are going.

I am off the first week and i have a couple days off the second week. I have never taken this much time off. I was invited to hunt in Brockport this yr so i hope that goes well also

Little sad to see it come. After the opener around here deer are scarce. I hunt a lot of public land and once the shootin starts, forget it.

I hope to get a doe this week before bow ends and hope I am in a good spot for pumkin army day.

actually them cutting it Saturday may not be such a bad thing. When I used to drive truck cutting corn, the deer would scatter when you got close to them. So they may run in your direction as they cut. I have shot deer that way and seen them run when working.
