Doe are herding up!

Saw 17 together this morning.

every time i see them there is at least 5.Had my bow last time i saw 5 of them.Two many damn eyes to draw!LOL.

the last 2 weekends every time we pushed out a buck there has been at least two no giants but they are hanging together,

First time all season since Oct 1 bow, that I ever saw more than 5 together and generally 2 or 3. Just an observation. I remember about 4 years ago the first Sat of Muzzle, I saw 21 deer before 10am. 5 were bucks. One huge multi pt bruiser, a real big 5 pt and three scrub bucks. Now I never miss first Sat Muzzleload.

This morning I saw 15 to 20 does, in several groups, all heading for the same bedding area. When I came out for the morning and saw this post I had to smile, because it seems it was the same all over.

I have noticed that in areas where there is significant hunting pressure, the deer seem to adopt a "safety in numbers" attitude. That's why two different groups or individual hunters will have directly opposite opinions of deer populations. Some guys will be near the path of these ganged up deer and the next guy may just be out of sight of them. You either see a pile of deer all at once or see none depending on where you are standing.
