My brother is a Bills fan. Gave up trying to figure out why.

Giants fan.  Never watch the draft.  Always follow the ESPN ticket and then turn on the TV when the Giants are on the clock.  Intrigued by Manti Te'o.  Part of me wants the Giants to draft him just for the novelty of it and part of me tells me wants the Giants to address more pressing needs.

I will be flipping channels . POI is on at 9 pm . Maybe the Bills will have the #8 pick made by then unless they trade down . They had better get a good left guard . Otherwise a QB would get creamed . Andy Levetrie was a big loss .

It was going on outside my office window yesterday, it always is a good time for all involved. Most teams have tractor trailers painted up with the team logo and colors, that is pretty cool to see.

Not a very exciting draft - seems like last year was much more interesting...probably traces back to the fact this draft is seen as weak in top-flight talent and stacked with "1A" talent.

 

Bills don't trade picks that high very often, so I think they got a deal that was worth it. Who knows how Manuel is going to pan out, though. Seems like he has the right attitude to make it.

 

Vikings seem to have gotten some playmakers.

 

Would like the Bills to get the Stanford TE if possible.

 

I agree, the Jets DT pick boggled me a bit.

i think the bills did ok. def a good move to trade down. We shall see about Manuel. Dude is huge, but I worry about his accuracy.

Looks like the vikes got 3 starters so far, their remaining picks are for practice squad. I'll give them an a- grade so far. Bills, well lots of needs traded down for more pics, not much talent in this draft so big risk IMO. B at best.

They'll go Nassib or Geno....no way they opt for Barkley. They don't have enough Vaseline left for another USC QB.

Geno is a scrambler no? Nassib is more of a pocket passer from what I was reading.

Both Geno and Nassib are pocket passers.

 

Geno is more mobile and one of the multiple knocks on him is that he DOESN'T run as much as he should. Seems like he opts to dump the ball or get rid of it rather than clear running situations when the pocket collapses or an opening pops up in the line, etc.

 

Geno is a big ?...he can show flashes but then just as many dud characteristics. Nassib is decent, but I don't think he's ever going to be a top 5 or a top 10 QB in this league as he hasn't really shown progression in his upper-level college years. He is what he is. Maybe a good career back-up.
