Fantail
I enjoy a few favorite WMA spots I know now and then. Got him on 2nd set, 1st set - busted by two does. He would not leave his hens, had to agitate the hens and bring them all in for the shot. (9:20am) Spotted his fan just before I was going to cut a small feild to get to the spot. Was a good 30 minute show, from the shooting postion I was sort of sitting on my ankle/foot. After the shot my ankle was so numb it took a few minutes before I could stand & get him. If I would have moved to repostion the hens would have spotted me. 9" beard, 1" spurs, nice fan tacked down, boraxed & saved for another project when the times good. Winchester 1300 - Fed premium flight control 3" 5's - 35 yards. Slammin` Edited May 2, 2013 by Fantail
