Deer Carts?

My tenant left in yard a cart. Looks exactly like what they use for stocking at Walmart. He removed stuff to make it lighter. He moved wheels so I can tip one side down and other side is up, then I should be able to lift and push cart And deer into jeep. He even made it so the tires will fold in when not using so it wouldn't move while driving. Now he wants to make it so it will fold in half and lock. Not sure why but what ever

Hope I can use it this year

I strap the deer right to the rack on the back of the wheeler. And if there is two deer, I tie a collar around its neck and tie the other end to the wheeler and they slide nice on the snow and leaves :P they always slide on their side so leaves stay out of the field dressed area. It sounds and looks barbaric but it works and I quite frankly don't care as it is effective.

I dragged one behind an ATV once. It will be the last time that ever happens. Destroyed the hide in a couple of spots, one of which came close to wearing through to the point I cut the meat around the area out and tossed it.

I think they would work well, if you buy the right one. I tried on once. It had tall bicycle type wheels on it so it was too top heavy. I really had to wrestle with the thing to keep it from tipping. Actually it did tip twice before I got the deer back. I use my ATV and a plastic sled.

Have and use one and LOVE it! it makes it so much easier and quicker to get a deer out of a field or thick stuff.  Last year doing a drive one of the guys I hunt with got a big bodied buck (200+) and with my cart it was only a ten-fifteen minute walk compared to I don't even want to know how long of a drag!  its in the bed of my truck alllllll season long!
