phade
I'm not much on using scents. I really only use it a time or two each season in the rut and that's more or less to break up the monotony if it seems to be slow or when decoying. A kitchen sink tactic. That said, I prefer Trophy Blend - I believe they are cheaper and same style of scent dispersal. I have used the the "herd" and estrous urine version and killed a couple deer while that stuff was put out. Not saying it did help or hurt. The certainly smelled it....several does actually licked the tree it was on, but they were cautious coming into it.
oblivitar
I've used it this season and I would say yes it does work.

deerpassion
i was lookin hard at gettin this before season, but im leaning more toward NO scents at all , except for the last couple a days of bow or first day or two of gun ... im too skeptical of quality of the urine or scent whatever it is , there are so many, just like anything each ones trying to make a dollar .... ny hunter
I used Antler Ice last year and I gotta say I had a buck on the trail of a doe and it stopped as it crossed a scent trail i made with antler ice it got his attention for the first time a scent did something,he is now on my wall.I well use it this year as well. nyslowhand
Regardless of any of the mfger's sales hype, Evercalm is a masking scent only! I smear some on a cotton wick & hang from my stand. Been using it for the last couple of years. Does it work? IMHO - Can't say I've seen any more deer within bow range since using it as compared to previous years..! The things we do & money we spend to get that elusive buck within bow range.
RangerClay
Remember scent trails can work against you as well. Four years ago I witnessed a buck hit my scent trail, get all gitty, and track me back to the truck. It can go both ways. I used Ever Calm 2 years ago. I got the liquid form from their web page. The stuff stinks something fierce. I really didn't notice anything special.
