I am currently using the harness that came with my summit climber but I don't like the belt tree strap.  I tighten it but it becomes way to loose when I move around.... am I doing something wrong?

Try looking on YouTube for the harness that you have for proper adjustment. Please, don't take any chances.... Trust me! Been there, done that!!  :fie:

I tried and I couldn't find any on the tree strap itself.  All of the videos were about putting on the harness which I have no problem with.  Its the strap that attaches to the tree that doesn't sit right with me.

I believe that the white print on the tree strap is supposed to be facing out or else the strap can come loose . Try that ...............

I use the ones that come with the stands, my old HSS just sits. I tie my own Prusik on line I buy. It is Prusik btw it's his last name. I tie the loop with a double fisherman.

For what it's worth I'm certified NYS intermediate level rope rescue.

The key is to practice with your harness and line. Have you ever hung from it? Felt the thightness in the groin? Saw how the harness rides way up restricting arm movement?

Training is key to whatever you use.

Stay safe.
