My buddy is hunting 8S and seen lots of 6 different buck this morning.They where following each others trails

in central I am seeing small bucks moving more during daylight. I am thinking next week is gonna be best chase week.

HBB you know who my buddy is in 8s, he has been out for the last few days and has seen deer but no chasing yet.

Have not  used any attractant for deer hunting what are you using during the Rut ?.

7R... lots of good sign, chasing all over, does do not seem to still want any of it.

I was up hunting in 8M from thursday until monday.  We saw a couple of little bucks running around and one small buck was chasing a doe.  Doe seem to be skiddish as well.  As far as cameras go seems like only the younger bucks are moving right now and at night, no pictures of any big bucks.  Also Monday night had 3 1.5 year old bucks come out to foodplot together and just feed.  That being said i sure am excited to be heading back up there this weekend hopefully they will be going crazy.

Small bucks chasing in 8N.. Starting to see the mature bucks.  Does are nowhere to be found

nothing cooking in CNY for me. Alot of "opening day only" hunters are going to get real lucky this year

I havent been out, but all reports from the farms I hunt are a bit more young buck activity and thats about it. I have seen some road kills, but not a ton. Last night on my way home, I missed a bruiser buck by about 6" with my truck. My girlfriend missed one on her way home the other day as well. They are moving, but I think it will be another week or so before it really gets good.
