There is an albino deer in Harriman. Spotted her 2x last season off the thruway. So cool to see,

I have gotten one of those before. I think a hunter might have taken it because I lost track of it once the season opened.

I passed on 2 already, no I wouldn't shoot her, one was real cool, all white but 1 brown spot on her head

 

if it had horns, it would be a different story

Cool deal verminater. There seems to be a fair amount of piebald genes in this corridor. I've seen 4 different ones now in 7 years.

DT...I also saw that doe piebald by Harriman in the large field a few times.  You're right and she's been there a few years now and is about 3 y/o.  Anyone coming up the Thruway pay attention to the large fields on the right before the tolls.  She's pretty easy to see and is usually there toward dusk.

sam, we definately have a few running around this corridor, this one was actually down by elmira that's what surprissed me the most, never seen one down there before

 

I do enjoy watching them from the stand, especialy when there's snow on
