Xmas / Holiday gifts for the wife? Idea's?

I think I'm going to get her a new laptop...  The one she uses now is a 5 years old, and running on its last legs.  Battery lasts like 20 min   I think I'm going to get her the mac book, consumer rated it the best.  I love mac's, and have one myself, and I know she is comfortable using one now.

Problem is if I get her that, then I can't get her a lot of other gifts.  She is a kid at heart and loves to open lots of "stuff".

Sorry guys not to put the kabosh on things but you better have some other nice things for her to open after that laptop. I'm not saying that a laptop isn't a great gift. It will get old real quick opening up accessories to the laptop. Remember Men are from mars and women from venus! Get my drift?

Yeah I realize that... Trust me   I'm just not sure what else to get her.  She has enough pocketbooks and jewelry... I'm not shopping for clothes, so....

I usually get my wife and daughter a gift certificate for a full day at the spa.

Pick up about 5 or 6 inexpensive gifts to give her too.  Her favorite Chick Flik DVD,  a pound of her favorite coffee,  a scented candle,  new slippers,  a Dunkin Donuts gift card and some scented oil for the body.  ( That one needs someone to apply it so it's also a gift for you )

Who's joking?! I already wrapped up everything separately and picked out a pocketbook from the back of her closet to wrap up.  I also got her a mens XL under armor cold gear 3.0 thermal set.  And a sweet HuntingNY lighted Hat.

I am looking into the Kindle or the Nook.Its a computer for books you download the book read and erase it then download another.My wife well read a book a night if its good.They are not alot of money and I well get her some other stuff to open.

The kindle looks better and more widely supported.

The Kindle has gotten a much better write up.I like the looks and feel of the Nook myself.But it is not for me ha ha.Takes weeks to read a book.Can't stay awake.LOL

Got the wife the Nook last year, loves it.. B&N gives away free ebooks all the time, plus if you search online you can find many more.. Mostly older stuff though..
