LET EM GROW
I have a 23hp that pulls a one bottom just fine. I'm sure you could pull it with 28, problem is one bottoms are not cheap. THATS GOOD TO HEAR. THANKS. EVERYDAY ON MY WAY TO WORK I DRIVE BY A HOME THAT HAS 2 SMALLER OLDER SINGLE BOTTOM PLOWS FOR SALE AND I HAVE BEEN DEBATING TO STOP AND LOOK AT AND FIND A PRICE ON. BUT WAS NEVER SURE IF I COULD PULL ONE AND HAVE IT WORK PROPERLY. THEY ARENT SET UP FOR A 3PT HITCH THOUGH. LOOKS TO BE A PULL BEHIND. BUT I CAN WELD A FRAME UP FOR IT. SO FOR NOW I JUST USE MY TILLER AND OR A SET OF GANG DISCS AND HARROWS. TILLER WORKS GREAT BUT LOTS OF ROCK WHERE IM AT IN STEUBEN
WNYBuckHunter
If a tiller is working for you don't bother with the plow or discs. JMO.
LET EM GROW
IT DOES WORK GOOD. I JUST LIKE TO TINKER WITH ALL DIFFERENT STUFF, AND GET OPINIONS FROM EVERYBODY. I JUST HATE PICKING ALL THE ROCK. IT NEVER ENDS.
WNYBuckHunter
Im very thankful for our clean soil. Honestly, after we tilled 4 plots this year, I walked all of them and couldnt find a single rock if I wanted to. My biggest chore was picking chunks of root balls from the bushes that used to be in a couple of them.

TELL me about rocks in Steuben County..On the hills, rocks and hardpan clay are the name of the game. The LUCKY guys are the ones with river/creek bottom... A tiller in the ground hear is only asking fro broken tines/shear pins Clay and shale here in alleagany/Catt county.
