Elmo
I've had beef tartar, carpaccio, and kitfo (Ethiopian beef tartar). All at high end restaurants. A place I can sue if something happened to me. I can't sue myself.

Pygmy
I was up in NWT on a caribou hunt. My Inuit guide was gutting a caribou I had shot. He cut a slice of the raw liver, dipped it in the stomach contents in the animal's bloated paunch, and ate it. He even licked his fingers afterward. He offered me some, but I passed. My buddy recorded it on video. I probably could eat a slice of raw liver on a bet, but the stomach contents are a little over the edge. Danny
Sounds like how steve rinella took a piece of bear meat and squirted it with the bile from the gall bladder and then ate it.... i will try different things but im not that adventurous
Elmo
Steve Rinella did that with Bison, not bear. Bear you should never eat raw. Ironically, Steve Rinella recently caught trichinosis from eating bear meat. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

sits in trees
Yea steak Tar Tar is something that has to be ground in a spotless grinder and it's usually very lean low fat content beef. When you think about it a rare burger or steak arnt much differant.

BizCT
Many restaurants sell steak tartare. Ive had it many times and it's pretty pricey actually. I wouldn't try making it myself though with store bought meat. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

ATbuckhunter
Ive eaten it before on 2 occasions and it was great! You really need to get it from a good place because you can get really sick from it if its not kept right. I find its best with lightly salted potato chips.
