ants
I think they have been protected for quite a while. Why, I have no idea. I remember, years ago, Dave Winfield caught all kinds of hell for killing one with a baseball during a Yankee's game. During warm ups, Winfield chucked a ball at one that was on the field, and killed it deader than hell right in front of everyone..…LOL!! Paula
Think they taste like fast food, fries and chicken nuggets.
Deerthug
Think they taste like fast food, fries and chicken nuggets. Interesting thought Paula. Ya know I live about a mile from a Mickey D's near the LI Sound. Haven't noticed that many seagulls flying around lately. Makes me want to say... Hmmmm... I won't be eating there again...ever! Lol! Paula
There is plaza here and you can see Mc D's on other side and they are everywhere. I remember them and feeding them as kids
Doc
That would be kind of like eating a turkey vulture wouldn't it? I'm not real big on eating "garbage eaters". Could be quite alright, but there is something about the whole idea that would kind of make me a bit disgusted with each bite. I have developed kind of a mental block about eating some critters. AaronBlaine
ah yes the shit birds we encounter this species every day building docks and moving barges. They may shit everywhere but they are an elusive beautiful bird and native to this fine island. Tell me have any of you ever even seen a seagull nest!!!! DIDNT THINK SO! Tricky spawns of satan I sure wouldn't mind having one mounted on my wall come to think of it...I could pet it when I come home from work and tell it jokes over a warm cup of tea in front of a warm fireplace on a rainy long island winters day lolol
