My brother has one. The batteries only last for 20 minutes or so. He does get some cool aerial shots though, but finding animals with it is a whole different story.

Yea I can imagine, it only has a range of 900 feet, don't think that is good enough for a scouting tool.  But, it would still be cool to own one...... if I had an extra $1000.00 to blow

works good for golf. not sure it would be much help for hunting here in NY unless you used it to spy on an open field before getting there.

That camera could be convertible to a thermal imaging camera, but then there goes the fun of the sport.

FYI they have some drones that are capable of around +- 700 meters in range and you put your go pro on it. Idk bout you but that could potentially be useful in a scouting scenario

my brother had 1 now just bought a better one, he makes his own videos for his business and has done some amazing events with it!

 

he said they have glasses you can wear that sees what the drone sees, would be cool for scouting fields lol

They're making any Commercial use of a drone illegal. There was just 2 idiots the decided to buzz the George Washimgton Bridge and NYPD helicopter that was flying by. They both got a new set of bracelets and lost their drone. Some have a longer distance than others. There's a YouTube guy that has a full auto Glock attracted to his.
