Putting on a baby shower Saturday....in a park. 25 woman and their kids....grilling etc...Well they were calling for thunder storms and needless to say.I was worrying....put out the word to everyone even strangers..say a prayer and send good thoughts. It's working... Sending a big THANK YOU to the universe in general..

You are not kidding that prayers work.   Some folks like to chastise me for praying for "trivial" things like getting a deer, when folks are dying of cancer and stuff like that.   They don't realize that God knows no limits and has plenty of good stuff to go around for those that love and believe in him.   That's the real beauty of being a Christian, reaping all the blessings he wants to shower us with.  Were it not for the power of prayer, I would be sitting on an empty freezer right now instead of one that is still about half full of tasty venison.  Now hopefully he comes up with a few limits of bass next weekend for the kids, the wife and myself so we can start filling the other half.  I am not afraid to ask.

Phewwww...all veggies for platter cut...Mac salads all set for dressing...all cheese is cut for cheese and pepperoni / crackers.. Cherries pitted for fruit salad ..just need to do melons ,strawberries,grapes,kiwi and pineapple....onions are diced for hot dogs and burgers..Will slice tomatoes in morning...daughter is bring every thing else ..she lives near a Sam's club...potatoes cooling for that salad....

What a beautiful day we had !  Even the bugs co-operated and stayed away...Just the right amount of breeze and mild temperatures...My daughter is so organized and what a grill master she is ! She had two grills running with perfect coals making fabulous hamburgers and Zweigle hots. Everyone had a great time...
