Im no expert but its equivalent to 4 quarters im going to say small. Sorry I had to say it .

I think its a decent size but i could be wrong I just put a bill up to my bears paw and tge paw was a few inches longer then the dollar

Having a reference is great. I don't know how in some of the trail cam discussions people judge the size of animals without anything to go by, especially since distance really affects how big or small things appear in some cameras. 

 

I watched a grizzly in Yellowstone - a robust looking thing, very muscular - through a spotting scope some years ago. A biologist who was monitoring her and her cubs asked me what I thought she weighed. I guessed 400#. He said her real weight was 250#.

X2 Cell phone cameras are not much better, You should have something to reference by as the dollar bill in the picture.

I don't know how big the bear is that made that track. But I can say with certainty, that it was alive when it made that track! (:-)

Always heard the width of the front foot in inches was what the bear would square in feet... 6" wide pad, 6' bear...
