lac415
On opening day I went out at about 4:30 a.m., I sit up near a stone quarry where three logging roads come together on our property. Just after daylight two does walked through at about 80 yards away. Then they just stopped and looked hard to their right. They were looking at something that I could not see. One doe started to run. Then all of a sudden, there was this big buck running after the remaining doe. I scoped him and saw a big body with a big rack. I used a grunt call once to slow him down and then took the shot.
