Lawdwaz
I ran over a big coon on the way to my stand yesterday, I thought for sure he was pancaked. When I came out a few hours later he was gone. Tough dude!
phade
Coon not moving due to backlog of stockpile. Rats will get 2 to 4. Good coyote will sell fine.

RangerClay
Dang! I was hoping to take my boy out trapping for the first time this year. We have a ton of coons. I'm not going to waste my time if it doesn't even pay my gas to deliver the hides.
Cabin Fever
Disappointing to say the least! Have lots of coons, fox, and coyotes on trail cams! Guess the neighbor won't be thinking the critters out for me as much this year!

I'm not going to waste my time if it doesn't even pay my gas to deliver the hides. I'd still take him out, that's reason enough to go. Just don't worry about a big line, just a good one he will enjoy with you. Worry about the costs next year.

Would be a good time to learn and just plain enjoy yourselves. Good year to teach him how to handle the fur and you wont pop a blood vessel if he messes up a hide.

It's a good time to practice fur handling, washing, skinning, stretching, etc. without the gut ache of a nicked hide.
