Who says the golf course didn't allow someone to hunt the deer?

The golf course is in a "no hunting zone", the police do bait & shoots.

I don't think the DEC would permit the golf course to kill antlered deer.......................I could be wrong but I highly doubt it.

Here is the picture I got.

Seeing two things in the picture:

1) The deer appears to have a wound on both sides in the two pics near/in the shoulder area?

2) The pic is staged on the side of a road, was it pounded by a car/truck/golf cart??

Thoughts and feelings are welcome.  Thank you!

I agree ,I already regret starting a topic about it . I let my emotions get the best of me and I automatically jumped to the conclusion that it was fact.

It happens. If it does turn out to be poached, and they catch the person, I hope the state makes an example of them.

BTW, when you look at the city's penalty for getting caught hunting, its a $250 max fine. I spend that much on fertilizer for one food plot.

I see the shot in the picture on the left , I know when you hit a deer with your car ,you can keep the deer if you want . I'm just guessing that maybe when they pulled it out to the road to confiscate or what ever they were gonna do with it ,they let the kid pose for a picture?

heck with the NH license price increase next year it would be cheaper to poach one then to buy a license

NH fine is $248.00

I have pictures of that deer and 2 others the same size feeding in a woman's yard ,she can feed them from her hand . My guess is who ever shot it got cold feet after the shot and just said "screw this" . Which makes for 2 points ,the first being that these deer are so tame that how is it even rewarding to shoot one and the second point is that the neighbors around here enjoy seeing these giant animals walking the neighborhood which makes for alot of prying eyes if someone where to try and drag that thing to a spot to leave with it.
