Directly east would be ideal for me, but I don't really care about it in this spot. There's so many guys around that deer won't be able to get away from human scent anyway. That's why I'm set up in the thickest, steepest, & nastiest spot around. Hoping to intercept them as they make their way into the cover. I have no idea which way they will come from, as there's trails & logging rds coming from several directions.

Snow will screw me though. Any precipitation with temps at 34 or lower, & work will call us in. I'll be out salting the hwy all day.
