Dead Pile Pics

Heres a few pics from the first week of my trail cam setup on a deer carcass. The date is off, but the time is right.

How far is it from the camera in the bottom pics ?

Ill have to take a look next time I go down there, Im not sure how far that would be. The deer carcass is about 15 feet away, and the fox is about 12 feet away in the first couple. Im not 100% that they are the same fox, I think its 2 different ones and the one is pretty big.

I got 49 of the foxes and about 850 more of crows. I also got some of a hawk, but accidentally deleted them when getting rid of the crow pics. The foxes are there every night around the same time, Im hoping to get some yotes in there soon.

Not yet. Its been out there for just over a week, they just havent found it yet. Those foxes live real close to it, so Im not surprised they found it fast. I still have our Thanksgiving turkey carcass frozen, Im gonna put that out there too, it should get stinky faster than the deer.

This stuff is working good, but my cam is getting wierd in this super cold weather. I checked it yesterday, you can see tracks all over, but not many pics. something started dragging the deer head and hide, but no pics of the culprit. The worst is going through the crow pictures lol. For every 1 pic of a fox or something, I have 20  or 30 crow pics. Here are a few from the latest batch...

Yeah I like him too, thats the second time Ive got him on that deer. I see him all the time sitting in the big oak trees in the back yard.

Its been a while since I was able to get to the cam because of all of the snow, but I went out yesterday and pulled it. This is the last set Ill be getting from it for now, there isnt much left of the deer, just bones and a bit of skin.

Great pics..I rounded a curve on a back road last month and there 15ft off the side of the road were two huge hawk sitting on a carcass...awesome sight....thanks for sharing
