What is your favorite preseason thing to do for the season to come.

I wanted to start a topic like this because Im getting the itch to go hunting. I started a food plot And im getting ready to put out some cameras.

Now that I have them, its checking the trail camera pictures.  And BS'ing here and with my hunting friends.

Making arrows for the upcoming season. Practicing with Broadheads. Touching up ground blinds. Making sure all my access permits are in or registered at the state park. Connecting with hunting friends.

I go and sit in my stand and see what pass by.

I also love to go sit in my blinds and watch.I spray my self down with scent killer all year what about you guys.

bowhunt anything in season bullfrogs,carp,woodchucks etc and then sit in blinds and see how big the deer are getting so i can get siked up for bow season and i shoot my bow all the time

Tweaking and tuning up that bow and sharpening up my accuracy through practice is a hunting preparation that I have already started working on. It all needs work ..... lol.

I don't enjoy being in the woods in this heat so I kinda have cabin fever. I enjoy the work involved in setting up the treestands in September or August if its cool out or raining. Trimming shooting lanes ect....

Observe them nightly. Sometimes get lucky and get a good pic. Just watch them grow and formulate an early season game plan.

Get a thermacell, they work wonders and dont smell.
