I see it's heading my way, Chris...Unless it breaks up before it gets here, as they sometimes do.
Lawdwaz
I think we got 1.36" here this morning, at least that's what the NWS said....... Some more rain an hour ago but I don't think it added up to much. I better check the radar now.
growalot
rained a good part of the night. It's pretty darn soggy out there...I never filled the watering tanks because of the well...all of them are either near or full now. The "pond area" is about a foot deep now.

LET EM GROW
Since the rain started almost 2 weeks ago.. we have received around 3 or 4 inches. I scratched a plot the other day and the soil was moist yet. perfect seeding conditions. Plus with these quick rain showers everyday or so.. germination has been great this year. Believe it or not, it was to muddy to plant my second plot today. The stand on the first planting is beyond my expectations. Happier than a frogs hair in February, LOL. We have had slightly over three inches of rainfall since July 22 to this morning. Looks like maybe more tomorrow with a 70% chance.
DDT
Keep it coming! We have a pond to fill. 15000 square feet of grass seed, acre and a half of clover mix, and a 1/4 acre test plot of Austrian peas all planted last Saturday. An acre of brassicas planted the week before. Glad to see the rain.

Not sure where abouts you live, but we had a quick real heavy storm roll through here Monday evening, plus some more rain yesterday. Looks like some promising small storms in the next few days as well!

Now fingers crossed we get a little more around the First of September for some cereal grain and clover plantings.
